This month's blog was written to the sounds of Sleeping Giant's self-titled debut album. Nearly 6 years in the making, Sleeping Giant demonstrates some of the most crushing moments in stoner rock this year with fuzz-laden riffs and gorgeous soundscapes blending effortlessly into your next sonic shrine. Fans of Foot's Buffalo will love this. Check it out here.

Welcome back to the Copper Feast Blog for this month. It's been a quiet month here for us with not much to report. The good news for those that've pre-ordered Pseudo Mind Hive's debut 'From Elsewhere' from us is that as of the time of writing, all pre-orders have now shipped, which is well ahead of the official release date of 06 September. Result! We've also had the nudge from the pressing plant that our pressing of the self-titled School Disco LP is due to land with us during September as well - exciting times!
The big news of the month, and the subject of the blog is that I'll be taking Copper Feast overseas very shortly, with a move to Sydney, Australia for my day job on the horizon and quickly approaching. So the question now is, what happens to Copper Feast while I'm on the other side of the world?
Well worry not, as one door closes, another will open and that is very much the case here. All of our previous releases (Right Shitty, KGATLW, Foot, T-Rextasy and Pseudo Mind Hive) will still be available from our webstore and will ship from the UK as usual. This will also be the case for all of our Magnetic Eye Records stock. We may have scope in the future to bring a handful of these titles out to Sydney to ship from, however don't hold your breath - I'll only be out there for two years as things stand.

Looking at our future releases, if and when they materialise, the aim will be to take on a batch of stock in Australia as well as the UK which will of course ease shipping options for those in both regions of the world. With my eye very much on the Australian psych and stoner scene at the moment, I'm sure this will help a few fans of bands we plan on releasing while I'm out there, so keep them peeled kids!
As I say, I'm keen to turn this into as much of an opportunity for Copper Feast as possible so if anyone wants to get in touch with any pitches or just wants to come and say hello while I'm at one of the many shows I plan on hitting, then feel free!
The feast continues...
